34 weeks...and counting!

oh, my goodness...we're already 34 weeks into our pregnancy!! so about 5-7 weeks left!! just because you never know if you will go a week late...or early.
It is very noticeable from last week's photo to this week's photo, that i am starting to drop already!! When i sit down, i feel like the little guy is sitting on my lap!! and it is becoming easier for me to breath too...walking up and down the stairs for the laundry isn't such a struggle anymore!! And our little guy is "always" on the move!! The other night Brandon and i were laying in bed watching my tummy move...at times it looked like a bowl full of jello, just wiggling all around!! Little Oliver is definitely doing cartwheels and flips...i'm quite sure of it!!

i thought a couple more self-portraits in the entryway mirror were in order this morning! i've been neglecting to add photos to the blog lately...mainly because nothing new has been going on...or else i just forgot to bring my camera along!

Lets see...what's new:
Last Wednesday: Brandon's band played at the Country Club here in Blue Earth. It was only a 2 hour show...but they did an awesome job and sounded great!! Brandon said he had a really fun time playing...so it was all worth it!! and he sang his new song by Dwight Yoakam!
(i forgot to bring my camera...oops!)

Brandon's 28th birthday was last Thursday! He and his boss came up to the coffee shoppe in the morning and had a latte and birthday cake...and all of the coffee ladies got to sing him "happy birthday"! (you've never heard anything like it before...they try their hardest to be off-tune...but it makes you laugh everytime you hear it!!) and then we had reubens that night for dinner! He got to choose his dinner since it was his day!!

Friday: We went to Mankato! Finally!! We amazingly accomplished quite a bit of shopping! Brandon got a set of screwdrivers at Lowe's (with his birthday money!!)...and we got to stop in to Old Navy too!! (my favourite store!!) and then we registered for baby "stuff" at Target! Now, that was interesting!! Brandon got to be in charge of the "beeper-gun"...i would take things off the shelf and point the bar-code in his direction and he would beep it!! At one point i called Liz to ask which bottle nipples to get (they have a very large selection at Target!!)...and he took off down the aisle and started beeping pacifiers!! It will be interesting to see what comes up on the registry!! No, i'm sure he behaved himself!!

Saturday: not too much...worked.

Sunday: a lazy day at home...i slept for 13 hours that night!! boy, did that feel good!! and then we went for a nice long walk...the weather was gorgeous!!

and Monday-Wednesday: pretty much non-eventfull! Brandon did receive the game Blokus from my folks for his birthday...and we played 4 games last night!!

you'd never know you are pregnant except for your tummy! wish we all lived closer so we could just hop in the car and come visit for an afternoon.

glad you guys liked the blokus game - i'm never sure what to pick out for all you adult kids anymore. have you started getting your 'faith and family' magazine yet? my latest issue came today - so i was thinking that maybe your first issue would be arriving soon, too. (or was your first issue the december one?)

see ya soon -

You do look good, Ana! You're right about Oliver ending up in your lap when you sit down! Bruce and I are looking forward to becoming grandparents again! Just think of the huge fort Brandon can build in our family room for Samantha, David, Oliver and little girl Ankeny to play in together! They will have fun!

The countdown is on! Enjoy these last few weeks - I can now speak from experience that you never when baby will decide to enter the world. I'm still amazed that Mason arrived exactly 2 weeks early. And my doctor was partially right - I did deliver early and he was just over 7 pounds. We'll be thinking of you.
