mowing the lawn

For Oliver's birthday from grandma and grandpa, he got this cool little lawn mower! And he loves it! Every time we go outside and play he wants to push his lawn mower around the yard.

So proud of himself for pulling the string and "starting" the lawn mower!!

playing with chalk?

For Easter, Brandon and i got gave Ollie a little box of chalk. i know the box says 3 and up...but we thought it might be fun! So one evening while we were waiting for Brandon to come home, we decided to try playing with chalk. It went okay. We colored for a little while, and then he fell down (as you can see!) and then decided to eat the chalk...yuck!

Oliver and the strawberries.
He has a love of strawberries this summer!
Everyday he'll eat some for breakfast, snack and sometimes dinner!

i let him play in the fridge so i can get kitchen work done (crazy i know!) and one afternoon he found the container of strawberries and helped himself! i found several half-eaten strawberries along with lots of juice splattered in the fridge!
