okay, i guess i just love all of the photos of my family!!

yum...yum

We feed our little guy really healthy food...cookies, popcorn and cheez-its. And he just gobbles them up! No wonder my little guy is already 14 pounds!! Just kidding!! These photos are staged by my crazy husband...and of course i had to take photos of them!!

Chocolate cookies...

Cheez-it crackers...Brandon propped a little cracker up in his little hand!! and he gave this look like, "can i really eat it, dad??"

popcorn!! we were trying to prop a piece of popcorn on his lip,
but he wasn't too keen on that!!

Little Oliver already driving a car!! Boy, they grow up fast!! Actually he was sitting in a little car at Jenny's house. And his expression is absolutely priceless!!

mommy, daddy and ollie

Last week Jenny took a few photos of Brandon, Oliver and myself.
i absolutely **love** these photos! i am going to order some prints and hang them up in the house! i have the frames ordered already...imagine that!! now, i just have to get my butt in gear and order some prints!

**enjoy**

having fun with his little boy

Brandon, giving little Ollie a ride on his shoulders! i think Ollie liked it too! Brandon is really enjoying his little boy...now that Ollie is starting to get a little older he is more fun to "play" with!

all smiles...

Brandon took these photos the other night while Ollie was in his swing. He loves to be in his swing...looking up at the lights and fish that go around in a circle.

i love his big smile and you can almost hear his little chatter to the fish!

hmmm...

Brandon's attempt at putting Ollie down for bed??
Not quite sure what Brandon was doing...but he was sitting in the crib with Oliver!! So cute...

i love how Ollie is looking up at his daddy listening to him talk

i think Oliver put Brandon to bed!!
(yes, it was all staged!)

a cute shot of Ollie while he was laying in his crib!

This photo is my favourite...for the time being...

i was attempting to take a photo of little Ollie's hand while he was laying down...but this is the best one i got! He constantly has his little arms and legs moving!! i guess that is a good thing though!!

His cute little leggies in his adorable striped pajamas...
Last night Oliver slept in his crib the entire night...and the first length of time was 7 hours!! Yippee!! Lets see how long it will be tonight!! i have my fingers crossed!!

More landscaping...

More landscaping...
Memorial Day Weekend we spent outside working on our yard...Bruce and Bonnie came over on Sunday and helped out too! (thank you guys!!)
We accomplished quite a bit that day...we finished up the planting, laying of the landscape plastic, laying the pavers and hauling the purple rock and raking the front yard and burning the sticks from the backyard and tidying up the garage (thanks Bonnie!) and taking Oliver for a couple walks!!

Bonnie...hanging out with Oliver!

the front of our house...and Bruce hauling a wheelbarrow load of purple rock. Brandon and Bruce were taking turns shoveling the rock from the pile in the back of the house and bringing it over to where it needed to be placed!

Bruce and Bonnie bringing a load of leaves and branches to the burn site.

This is the small trench for the pavers i was digging...pretty fun!

Here is the finished side of the house!

And here is the finished product of all of our hard work!!
and brandon watering the new plants...a task that we (mainly Brandon!) must do about twice a day!
a little more landscaping needs to be done still...hopefully in the next week or so!

Landscaping our yard

This summer Brandon and i decided we needed to landscape our yard!! We had the landscaper come over and sketch out some plans for us...we thought about having him do all the work for us...but then thought it might be fun (and challenging) to try it ourselves! So we bought several plants/bushes from the landscaper here in town and started planting!

This particular evening was super hot outside...around 90!! So while Brandon was digging holes for the plants, Oliver laid on a couple blankets and his boppy and i attempted to grill dinner! Well, Brandon did an awesome job with his plants...Oliver had a great time laying out under the trees...i however, did not do so well with grilling!! i think i burnt everything!! In defense...i had to go inside and nurse Ollie...so i left everything unattended for quite some time!

his little arms were just going...reaching toward the leaves!

oh, so happy...just blowing bubbles!

my hubby...working so hard with the landscaping!

my little guy

Little Oliver...growing so much! i cannot believe how much he has grown in the past couple of weeks. A couple of days ago i went through his clothes and had to pack away a very large pile of clothes that no longer fit him!! it made me sad...not only were those clothes cute, but that means he is growing up waaay too fast!!

But, Brandon and i are enjoying every minute of him! He has started to smile at us...and a couple of times he has given us a little giggle!! In the middle of the night while feeding him...he will stop nursing, look up at me and give me a grin!! That must be his way of saying "thanks for getting up with me again!!" It just melts my heart!!

i've been able to capture a couple of smiling photos...

now, that's a serious face!

oh, so happy!

adorable little profile...

he scratched the side of his little face with his his fingernails...ouch!

i rather like how they turned out...thank you mom for taking photos of us!!
now i just have to print some of these off and hang them up!
