Trying to start the four-wheeler...the guys had taken off to the gravel pit just down the road with the 90, 250 and Jon's 500. After cruising around the hills with the little four-wheeler, it over-heated a little and just need to cool off before i could take it out for more!

And now the weekend is coming to a close...and of course even though Dad didn't want to celebrate his birthday...who could resist a German Chocolate Cake with Coconut Cream Frosting??
i do believe the kids put 50 candles on dad's cake...hence all the smoke!!
it was a great trip up north!
(and now the whole fam is coming down to Blue Earth for Giant Days!!)
